Edit or delete a KPI update
If a logged number or date is wrong, you can edit it. The previous number stays visible on that update. If the update should not exist, you can delete it.
How to get there#
Open the KPI → Recorded updates → open the row’s Update options menu (the ⋮ control).
Edit a logged value#
- Open the KPI and scroll to Recorded updates.
- On the row, open Update options and click Edit.
- In the Edit update dialog (its title includes the KPI name), change Value, Date, or both.
- Click Save changes.
The dialog says you are correcting the value recorded on that date, and that “The previous number stays visible on this update.”
After an edit, the row can show Edited. Click Edited to see Previous values, including who replaced the number and when (“Replaced by … on …”).
Delete a logged value#
- Open the KPI and scroll to Recorded updates.
- On the row, open Update options and click Delete.
- Confirm Delete this update? The message names the value and date, for example that it “will be permanently removed.”
- Click Delete update, or Keep update to cancel.
Who can do this#
You need Edit Access or Full Access on the space. Without it, the Update options menu is hidden.
To discuss a value without changing it, comment on the update.
